Many of you are already familiar with NaNoWriMo – the national challenge to write a novel in just one month. But did you realize that WordWrites Guild folks are throwing their quills and ink pots into the literary ring of terror, as well?
Writers who are burning that midnight oil, slaying untamed dragons, or sloshing through dark and stormy nights in an effort to complete 50,000 readable, coherent and novel-worthy words in just thirty days, are enthusiastically invited to drop in to the North Dearborn Branch Library for an unofficial Write-In each and every Tuesday during the month of November from 12-3. There will be plenty of hot coffee, a variety of cookies, cakes, etc. (yes, any excuse to bake), and a quiet place in which to grapple with the tools of the trade – words.
No need to reserve a spot or arrive at a specific time – this is a drop-in-write-in, so stop by as your schedule allows. You’ll be warmly welcomed and heartily encouraged in your quest!
